Relay For Life 2005

Stormin' Norman took the stage at the 2005 Relay for Life in Brandenburg, KY.

Meade County Fair

What is more American than a day at the County Fair! WMMG radio went USA all the way with this American tribute booth. Stormin' Norman attended many fair events and nearly caused a stampede when he entered the crowd and began giving away free t-shirts!

Kentucky Oaks 2005

Stormin' Norman was trackside at the Kentucky Oaks race the day before the Kentucky Derby. Norman started his day in the stands, but quickly realized the real fun was in the infield! Yes, Norman chose and bet on the winner in the final race and walked away with a whopping in winnings.

Jar Jar

Another creation of master prop builder Richard Cross. This lifesize Jar Jar in carbonite was on display at the largest Star Wars convention in the USA, C3 in Indianapolis, IN. George Lucas, the creator of Star Wars himself, posed and had his picture taken with Cross' creation!

Maui, Hawaii

After a peaceful night at the Maui Seaside Hotel in Kahului Bay it is time to hit Maui. The old whaling village of Lahaina has unique arts and crafts. Iao Valley where King Kamehameha I destroyed the Maui army to unite the Hawaiian Islands. This photo was taken a few yards from the gravesite of Charles Augustus Lindbergh best known for his non-stop trans-Atlantic flight from New York to Paris in 1927. He flew from a New York hospital to Hana, Maui, to spend his last days with his family in his favorite place.


As you set off on the world famous "Road to Hana" from Kahului Maui, you will be astonished at the treasures that await you. It is sights like this Rainbow Eucalyptus grove along the highway that can easily be overlooked just a few steps from the edge of the pavement.
